Your projected image. What image do you project to others? As a manager, you want to project the image of a knowledgeable, decisive leader who is aware of what’s going on, sensitive to the needs of others and able to adjust to any situation. For example, if you are naturally gregarious or even brash, shy people making their first trip to the health club might find you more intimidating than the equipment. The ability to adjust your style to others is the key to being perceived as a person with “charisma.”
