Volunteer Opportunities at the AVA
Gardener's Market
Help the AVA distribute information and sell artwork this summer at the Gardener's Market.
A few hours on Saturday morning makes the AVA and its programs more visible to the public.
6 hrs, once a month
Gallery Director
The AVA needs someone to organize, promote, and hang the gallery shows. The Gallery
Director helps develop great exhibits for the Gallery and support local artists at the same time.
It represents about 10 hours per month and is a volunteer position
at this time. 1 person; 10 hrs/per month
Gallery Assistant
Help our Gallery Director with hanging the gallery shows
and preparing for the gallery openings. 1 person, 5 hours per month
Weavings of War set-up
This exhibit is very large and we will need additional help in setting it up. Volunteers will
be needed the week of Oct. 1 thru Oct. 5. during the hours of 9am - 6pm. We will also be looking
for someone with a large truck to move the crates to a storage facility.
1 person each day for 3 hours.
Database Programmer
Having a reliable database of fundraising contacts
and personell resources is invaluable to the AVA.
We need someone with database experience to help us
program an effective database. 1 person; 20 hrs over 2 months
